After such a busy couple of months, I was actually planning to do NOTHING… for 2 whole hours. The kids were at school and Grayson was down for a nap… I started eating my breakfast… after two bites… the phone rings! It was Harrison’s teacher! In less than 15 minutes of class, Harrison had fallen and busted his lip. She told me that it was bleeding, but not bad. She would not have noticed it, but went to tell him how good he smelled (of course, he has to wear cologne everyday). I was under the impression that he was playing again and she just wanted me to know. I told her that I would send Travis to check it out. About 15 minutes later, she called back to see if we were coming… Then she told me that she thinks he will need stitches! Travis got there and one of the ladies was rocking him. So, it was worse that I had expected.
I called his doctor to see where to go. They sent us to the ER. After 3 hours of the waiting room, he was finally seen by the doctor. Then an hour later… he got two stitches in his lip!
I was told that unless you are having chest pains… you will wait! I was amazed at the people that were still waiting after us!
Travis stayed with him the whole time because Grayson wasn’t allowed in the back due to all the sickness in the area.
