Writing it on a line

When thinking about naming our first child, or any for that matter… we had to consider: how it sounded with the last name, could it be easily pronounced, and was it easy to spell… So, Harrison seemed to fit in every category.  The two things we did not consider were… how long it would take his friends and sister to say it, and how long it was for him to write…. That brings me to the actual post.  He has been able to write his name for a long time, but normally all the letters are spread throughout the page.  Sitting in church on Sunday morning, he was writing letters and started drawing a line and letter,  then another line and letter, and so on… turns out he was writing his name and trying to keep it on a line.  (He actually started it and building backwards.)

Then I wrote the lines for him… Thanks to whoever the teacher was that gave him this direction!  Pretty soon, he will have it down pat!
