There are so many things I want to remember about my kids. So, I am going to try to do more blogging on the things that make me smile..
As independent as Alexis can be, she is such a copycat of Harrison. If H gives me a hug.. she does, if H runs around the house with a plate on his head, she does... It is so cute just to see the joy on her face as she plays with her brother. On the way home from school today... Harrison hid his hand under his shirt and 2 seconds later... Alexis was doing the same thing... Just think what it will be like when Grayson is old enough to follow!
Last night I was cleaning out the closet, H opened in the door and said, 'Is this were the Tennessee Rats are?' Tennessee Rats???? I asked him what he was talking about and he repeated Tennessee Rats... what dad and I play... That would be Tennis Rackets!!!
Alexis will be 2 yrs old next week, but she is just know starting to make sentence type statements... I absolutely have no idea what she is saying, but it is soooo cute to see how excited she is to tell me things!
Grayson is 2 months old and still waking 2 times a night.. Alexis was sleeping through the night by now! I have no idea why he is up so much, but I don't mind spending the extra time with my little one!
Harrison is such a Nascar fanatic (or a little extreme)... I overheard a conversation with H and Travis the other day. They went through every race car driver starting with Number 1 (not quite sure who that is) all they way to the last number (still don't know that one).. but it is so cute to see his passion for the numbers, names and sponsors of each car. When we pass Lowes, Home Depot, etc. he tells me who the driver and what number it is or vice versa when he sees numbers. I know that it is 'redneck' but it is helping him learn numbers.
A couple weeks ago, my dad took H to the convenience store to get some snacks and H immediately went to the beer aisle and started pointing out all the sponsors, quoting their names and numbers. Dad thought it was funny that he was so excited because all the other customers sure didn't know he was excited about Nascar, not beer!
Alexis and Harrison are always chasing each other around the house, since H plays Wii monster trucks so much he has started saying, 'A_L_E_X_I_S...you caught me on fire!' It is so funny because Alexis looks SOOO confused!
